Complaint Process

Step 1: Initial Contact (Within 30 days of program completion)

  • Include: Name, program details, specific issue, desired resolution
  • Acknowledgment within 2 business days

Step 2: Investigation (5-10 business days)

  • Thorough review of complaint and supporting documentation
  • Contact with relevant staff/presenters if needed
  • Review of program materials and participant feedback

Step 3: Resolution (Within 15 business days of initial complaint)

  • Written response with findings and proposed resolution
  • Possible remedies: Program revision, additional resources, partial/full refund, free program access 

Record Keeping All complaints and resolutions documented and maintained for 5 years as required by NBCC policy.
